The Pop Star Plays a Hell Version of Her Own Identity in Fictional Documentary First Look
The Grammy-winning artist is getting ready for a major big screen appearance in 2026, kicking off with the mockumentary titled The Moment.
Within the project, she plays what she calls as a twisted version of her own persona.
It’s the most authentic portrayal of the music industry that I’ve ever witnessed, the star stated.
She clarified in a discussion: This isn’t a concert film, yet the concept stemmed from the expectation to make one.
A Glimpse into The Film
The debut trailer, launched on this week, blends actual recordings from her recent tour with made-up off-stage interactions.
The mockumentary is directed and co-written by her collaborator, who explained that the plot focuses on a world where the singer made entirely different choices in the publicity of her chart-topping release Brat.

The mockumentary is only one of numerous future film appearances for Charli, who already featured in three independent movies in the current year.

Musical Contributions
The month of February will also see the debut of Emerald Fennell’s version of Wuthering Heights, which will showcase new music from the singer.
She will also compose the score for the story Mother Mary, with Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel, scheduled for release in the coming year.
The mockumentary is set to premiere on 30 January.
